Stewardship

“I will bless you,” God says to Abraham, “and you will be a blessing…and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12: 2-3.)

Stewardship

Each Fall, our Stewardship committee presents an opportunity for each member of Good Shepherd to pledge their support – in Time, Talent, and Treasure – to God’s work in our parish.  Prayer and Gratitude for the blessings that God has given us guide our decisions in making this commitment as we grow together in His Grace – “Becoming a Blessed Church.”

Endowment Fund

The Good Shepherd Endowment Fund has been established to provide a method by which members of our parish can give to the work of the Church in a variety of ways in addition to cash, including bequests in wills, life income gifts, annuities, trusts, life insurance policies, real estate, securities and other assets. The purpose of the fund is to enable the parish to fulfill its mission more completely by developing its ministries beyond what is possible through its annual operating funds.

Outreach Fund Raisers

The Good Shepherd family has financially supported several outreach ministries that bring Jesus in very tangible, healing ways to a hurting world.  Generous donations have been given to Habitat for Humanity - both locally and nationally; All Faiths Food Bank; and El Hogar.

AmazonSmile

AmazonSmile is a program offered by Amazon to those who shop on Amazon.  Good Shepherd receives 0.5% of each purchase you make when you designate The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd as your designated charity.  Good Shepherd parish members and their friends are encouraged to consider enrolling in this program.  The amount seems very small, but it does add up!
