Angel Trees

Each year, members of Good Shepherd Parish generously give Christmas joy to children of families of limited means and those with
an incarcerated parent in the Angel Tree programs.

The list of gifts usually includes clothing or toys.

First names of child recipients are placed on decorated trees at the end of November.

Unwrapped gifts for children referred to us by the Salvation Army (coordinator Lois Cottrill) are returned in early December and wrapped gifts for the Angel Tree Prison Ministry (coordinator Bev Wolff) are returned by mid December. If a bicycle or other large present is requested, parishioners often pair up to provide this item.

Parishioners also donate to a Secret Santa program where children are given gift cards to use at Christmas.(Coordinators Nancy Detotto and David Beall)
