Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Announces Call of Fr. Joe Hudson as 4th Rector
It is with great Thanksgiving and immense joy that the Wardens and Vestry of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church announce that Fr. Joe Hudson has accepted our call to join us as the Fourth Rector of our Parish. This announcement was made Sunday, October 27th, at the beginning of our 10 AM Celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The search process has been a wonderful journey, blessed by the Holy Spirit, and we are now ready to start a whole new chapter in our parish life. Special thanks go out to Larry Fees and the entire Search Committee – David Beall, John Buntel, Paul Buonarosa, Larry Freeman, Stephanie Kitt, Margi Miller, Theresa Marino, Lois Mueller, Christine Neal, Barbara Robinson, and Marcel Tabor.
We have grown to love Fr. Joe and his lovely wife, Desiree, as he has served as supply priest and Priest-in-Charge at Good Shepherd over the past months, and we now look forward to his ministry as Rector for our parish as we experience the journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
“Almighty God, giver of every good gift, we offer you praise and thanksgiving as you have looked graciously on your whole church, and have guided this congregation during our search for a new Rector. We have grown in our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and each other and have discerned the call of Fr. Joe Hudson to join us on our journey of faith in this church, in the community, and in our diocese.”
